Terms of Use

By creating an account, downloading the beta, or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Wrengle for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create a Wrengle account.
• An account is optional; public downloads and local desktop features do not require one.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in methods secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and should report suspected compromise promptly.

Wrengle is pre-release beta software supplied free of charge. There is currently no active purchase, subscription, licence-key, or billing gate. Features, file formats, integrations, platform availability, and hosted services may change, break, or be withdrawn as the beta evolves.

Keep independent backups of every vault and important output. Built-in note history is not a complete backup. Do not rely on Wrengle as the sole record for regulated, medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-risk work.

AI-generated text, summaries, actions, and transcriptions can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. Review output before using, sharing, or acting on it. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required to record or transcribe a meeting and for choosing a lawful provider and configuration.

Clerk, model providers, transcription services, sync tools, external agents, plugins, and integrations have their own terms and privacy practices. Wrengle does not control their availability or output. Product boundaries are described on the Privacy and AI and Security pages.

You must not:

• use Wrengle unlawfully, fraudulently, or to infringe another person’s rights;
• upload, process, or disclose material you have no right to use;
• probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security, authentication, rate limits, or access controls;
• distribute malware or use the service to harm people, systems, or networks;
• misrepresent generated output as verified fact where doing so could cause harm; or
• resell or provide the hosted account service to others without written permission.

Wrengle and its website, branding, and original software are owned by PLIXO LABS LTD or its licensors. Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the beta for lawful internal purposes. Open-source components remain governed by their own licences.

You retain ownership of your vault files and material you create. You grant us only the limited rights needed to process information you deliberately send to the hosted account or support service. Feedback may be used to improve Wrengle without payment or confidentiality obligation.

You may stop using Wrengle and delete your optional account at any time. We may suspend or terminate hosted access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse, material breach, or discontinuation of the beta. Local vault files remain under your control, subject to your own backups and any software already installed.

The beta is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every system, or suitable for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for review, backups, provider costs, and decisions made using the software.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, PLIXO LABS LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business, lost opportunity, or lost or corrupted data arising from the free beta.

These terms and non-contractual disputes are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes; mandatory consumer rights and forums are unaffected. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remainder continues.

We may update these terms as the beta changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through the website or account service. Questions can be sent to support@wrengle.com.
