A desktop app for people who live in meetings. It records and transcribes your calls, keeps the notes as ordinary files on your machine, and helps you turn what was said into what happens next.

Yes, and it is free. The download page offers the currently configured, freshly confirmed signed and notarized release—normally GitHub latest, or an exact incident-recovery version during a temporary pin. v0.0.18 and later require Apple Silicon and macOS 13.4.

The app is free and no feature is behind a paywall. The one optional purchase is prepaid credits for Wrengle AI, which you only need if you would rather not use a model provider key of your own. Accounts are optional and use email or Google — you do not need one to download or use the app.

Your vault, search, and Local Whisper transcription run on your Mac. Generative work uses the route you chose: your configured OpenAI or Anthropic key, or an enabled text-only Wrengle AI tier, which sends bounded context through Wrengle to OpenAI. Wrengle shows that boundary before sending context.

Beginning with v0.0.18, Wrengle requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 13.4 or later. v0.0.17 is the final Intel-compatible build and receives no later fixes. Windows, Linux, mobile, and browser versions are not shipping targets.

Still stuck?

In the desktop app, open Settings → About and choose Copy diagnostics, then include that privacy-safe summary when you email support@wrengle.com. It includes the app version, platform, and local background-storage status; it excludes vault paths, note and transcript content, accounts, secrets, and raw logs.
